Terms of Service (VOX)

By accessing or using VOX (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be 18+ to use the Service.

VOX lets you provide short voice samples and receive speech-style analytics and compatibility-style outputs ("Outputs"). The Service is informational only and not medical, psychological, diagnostic, legal, or professional advice.

• "User Content": voice recordings you submit, any text you provide, and other materials you upload.
• "Outputs": results generated by the Service (analytics, scores, interpretations, summaries).
• "Subscription": a monthly recurring paid plan, if offered.
• "Consumer": a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade/business/profession (EU definition).

You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of credentials and all activity under your account.

You confirm you have all necessary rights/permissions and a lawful basis to submit User Content. You agree not to submit content that violates laws or third-party rights, or is used for harassment, threats, or unlawful surveillance.

We do not store raw audio recordings. Audio is processed to generate Outputs and then deleted after processing (typically within minutes). We may retain derived analytics/Outputs linked to your account unless you request deletion or retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).

Depending on jurisdiction, some voice-derived data may be treated as biometric. Where required, you will be shown a Biometric Notice & Consent and must consent before processing. VOX is not intended for identification or surveillance.

You grant the Provider a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service (including generating Outputs), and to comply with legal obligations.

The Service (software, design, and underlying technology) is owned by the Provider or its licensors and is protected by IP laws. You own your User Content. Outputs are provided for your personal/internal use, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or models
• scrape/crawl/harvest data except as permitted by law
• bypass security, rate limits, or access controls
• use the Service to identify/surveil third parties
• use the Service unlawfully or in violation of privacy/consumer/biometric laws

• Auto-renewal: your Subscription renews monthly unless you cancel before renewal.
• Authorization: you authorize recurring charges using your selected payment method.
• Billing date: renewals typically occur on the same calendar day as the initial purchase (or nearest available day).
• Taxes/VAT: prices may include applicable taxes/VAT where required.
• Price changes: we may change prices with notice before renewal; changes apply from the next billing cycle after notice.

If a free trial is offered, the duration and conversion terms will be disclosed at signup. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the Subscription converts to paid automatically.

VOX is delivered electronically. Paid access is typically activated immediately after successful payment confirmation. If activation is delayed or you cannot access paid features, contact robot@voxomatic.com.

You can cancel your Subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access until the end of the current paid period.

Except where required by law:

• Subscriptions are non-refundable, including partially used periods.
• Billing errors/duplicate charges: contact robot@voxomatic.com within 14 days of the charge. After verification, we will correct the issue (refund or adjustment as appropriate).

If you are a Consumer in the EU/Italy and you purchase online, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

17.1 Digital service start; loss of withdrawal right

Where the law allows an exception for digital content/services once performance begins, you may lose the right of withdrawal if: you request immediate performance (activation/access starts right away), and you acknowledge that you may lose the right of withdrawal once performance begins/completes.

17.2 How to exercise withdrawal (if applicable)

To exercise withdrawal within 14 days (when applicable), email robot@voxomatic.com with your order details and a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract.

If you have a payment dispute, contact robot@voxomatic.com first so we can resolve it quickly. Excessive chargebacks, suspected fraud, or abuse of payment systems may result in suspension/termination.

The Service may rely on third-party providers (hosting, analytics, payment processing). Their services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, attempted to compromise security/payment systems, or created risk/harm to others or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." Outputs depend on input quality and context and may be inaccurate or not meet expectations.

• the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits/data/goodwill
• the Provider's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 3 months, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing

You agree to indemnify and hold the Provider harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your User Content, misuse of the Service, or violation of these Terms or law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are a Consumer in the EU, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections that may apply under EU rules.

• Consumers (EU): you may generally bring claims in the courts of your place of residence where mandatory rules apply.
• Business users / non-consumers: exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turin (Torino), Italy.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on voxomatic.com with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
